This reads like the closing of my latest book. It reads exactly the same s everything I write to be honest, and I love that!!!! It’s further confirmation that I am not alone in my thinking. And that is fuel for me to keep “keeping on!”

Being a person of Faith, I have to respectfully disagree with at least some of your points. Although the world, I think, became so messed up because we all fell asleep behind our cell phones, we can effect change by getting more involved in our communities--large and small. However, I believe that the only things we truly have control over are our own thoughts and our own actions. I do believe in karmic retribution, and I think it is basically the scientific principle of "for every action, there is an equal, and opposite reaction." I think that in order to feel at peace in the world--whether it's peaceful outside or not--a sense of humility is a necessary component. I also believe that despair can destroy a person faster than anything else, and that despair leads to a lot of the most destructive behaviors in people. I think that if you want a good world, then you have to be good enough to deserve it. The world is simply a reflection of those who reside in it; more good, better world.
